Outreach Program

We are committed to educating children about the future METRO light rail system, including what it is, where it will go and how they will be able to ride METRO once it opens. Resources are available to teach children how to be safe around trains and in construction zones as we build the system.

METRO staff has a variety of resources available to help educate children and schools about the Valley’s first light rail transit system, including:

• Safety Posters
• Newsletters
• Memorandums to Parents
• Presentation materials suitable for school children,
  parents and faculty members.
