We Can Help!

Our highly trained Rideshare staff assists Transportation Coordinators with preparing, writing and implementing a Trip Reduction Program. The following services and information are available to assist you with your program:

Trip Reduction Program
The Trip Reduction Program is a County ordinance that requires employers with 50 or more employees and/or schools with driving aged students reporting to one site at least 3 days a week, 6 months per year to participate in the program. This group of employees and students makes up approximately 50% of all the commute trips within Maricopa County. Currently, there are 1,200 employers/schools in the program, representing more than 500,000 employees.

Employer Training and Workshops
Valley Metro Rideshare provides FREE, interactive workshops for Transportation Coordinators and others who want to be more effective in executing a successful Trip Reduction Program. Workshops include an introduction to the trip reduction program, how to write and update a trip reduction plan, implement and document the plan, and more.

Transportation Coordinator's Associations
