Results indicate that more than 400 valley residents participated in the 2010 Valley Bike Month contest. To be eligible for entry in the contest, participants recorded the number and distance of trips taken by bicycle during the month of April. The 400 contest entrants travelled more than 37,000 miles via bicycle during the month-long event.
