Service hours and frequencies
You must possess valid fare to ride METRO or to be at a METRO station.

Weekdays
Hours. The first full trip of the day begins at 4:40 a.m. at the end-of-line stations. Monday through Thursday, the last full trip of the day begins at 11 p.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at midnight. On Friday night, service hours are extended: the last full trip begins at 2 a.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
Frequency. Trains arrive every 12 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; all other hours, every 20 minutes.
Weekends and Holidays
Hours. Trains begin the first full trip of the day at 5 a.m. at the end-of-line stations. The last full trip of the day begins at 11 p.m. arriving at the opposite end of the line at midnight. On Saturday night, service hours are extended: the last full trip begins at 2 a.m., arriving at the opposite end of the line at 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Frequency. Trains arrive every 15 minutes Saturdays between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. All other hours, and on Sundays and holidays, trains arrive every 20 minutes.
2013 Light Rail Holiday Hours
METRO will operate on the following major 2013 holidays using a Sunday schedule.

- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Years Day (2014)
On the Friday after Thanksgiving, METRO will operate a regular schedule including late-night service. On New Year’s Eve, service will be enhanced to serve the demand from special events.
