Dec. 27 - Grand Opening station celebrations

The METRO grand opening weekend is Dec. 27-28 with special station celebrations on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  In addition to the special attractions listed here, each station celebration will include exhibits by businesses and community groups. 

19th Avenue and Montebello – A Better Tomorrow Starts Today

FREE METRO TRAIN RIDES run from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Remember … free rides continue through the New Year’s Eve holiday. Service is being extended for New Year’s Eve revelers until 2 a.m.  Fares are required on METRO beginning at 4:40 a.m. on January 1.
