Advertising on the METRO system

The METRO Advertising Policy permits sales of vehicle wraps, vehicle floor decals, station wraps and station map-case poster ads. Ads will not be accepted until a vendor has been hired to conduct sales and coordinate placement of ads. Vendor contact information will be placed on this Web page when METRO is ready to accept ads.

The METRO Board of Directors has also approved the exploration of public-private partnership opportunities for the purchase, installation and management of advertising programs involving standard or electronic station kiosks, and video or LCD-TV technology in light rail vehicles. No timeline has been set for this project, but it is expected to commence in 2009-2010.

METRO will also seek a consultant to investigate value, benefits and risks related to the sale of system naming rights and/or station naming rights. The RFP for this consulting contract is expected to be issued in late summer.

Watch for RFP postings on METRO’s Contracts and Procurement page. This page, which includes contact information for our Procurement staff, is the official site for all information and communication once an RFP or RFQ has been issued.

Advertising is not being accepted at this time.
Ads will only be accepted after METRO has posted contact information on this page for our advertising sales vendor. If you are interested in buying advertising on the METRO system in the future, you may add your name to a prospective client list that will be provided to the vendor.
