Take Your Bike for a Ride

In this video, What Laura Says tells you how to take your bike on buses and trains for Free! On buses, simply lower the bike rack on the front of the bus, put your bike on the rack, and pull the clamp over your tire. Signal to the driver to make sure they see you!  On light rail, use the bike hangers just inside the middle doors.  For more tips for taking your bike FREE on transit, click here.

Lyrics

Take Your Bike for a Ride

(Oh Yeah!)
Take Your Bike for a Ride on Valley Metro
Take Your Bike for a Ride on Valley Metro

If you want to take your bicycle, but not all the way
If you’d rather do the first 5 miles and take it easy
If you’re on your bicycle and it starts to rain –
Put your bike on the bus, put your bike on the train

There’s a special place for your bike when you ride with us
It’s on the middle of the light rail or the front of the bus
Just throw your bike in the rack and pull the clamp on the top
Pay your fare, take a seat anywhere you desire
And remember when you’re leavin’ just to try to be seen
‘Did I tell you the best part – that your bike rides for FREE!’

What Laura Says

What Laura Says

In 2006, after years of playing coffee houses and house parties in the Phoenix area, James Mulhern (guitar, percussion, vocals) and Danny Goldbold (keys, guitars, vocals) joined up with the rhythm section of Mitch Freedom, Greg Muller and Jacob Woolsey to form the current incarnation of What Laura Says. Their blend of psychedelia, pop, blues, Americana, and indie rock are drawing fans from all over the country. Just like Valley Metro trains and buses, once you try them, you’ll be hooked.
