Happy Birthday Arizona

Valley Metro is celebrating Arizona’s 100th Birthday with a specially designed Commemorative Centennial Transit Pass available for purchase beginning on January 1, 2012.

image This Commemorative transit pass is sold at transit centers, retail outlets, ValleyMetro.org and from fare vending machines at 7 light rail stations while supplies last.  For a complete list of retail outlets click here.

The All-day and All-day reduced Commemorative pass is sold at transit centers, retail outlets, at ValleyMetro.org and valid on local bus, LINK and the light rail.

The 7 light rail station fare vending machines will dispense the Centennial pass in any denomination except a 1-ride fare.

The 7 light rail station locations where the Centennial pass is available beginning January 1 are:

  • Montebello/19th Ave.
  • Central Ave/Camelback
  • Central Station (both platforms)
  • 44th St./Washington
  • Veterans Way/College Ave.
  • Price-101 Fwy/Apache Blvd.
  • Sycamore/Main St.


The Centennial transit passes are available starting January 1, 2012 until supplies last.
