This report from Valley Metro Regional Public Transportation Authority (RPTA) reveals just how residents are behaving as gas prices rise, pollution persists, and the transit system expands. Over time, the new scorecard will identify trends in commuting habits.

For the first time this year, Valley Metro released a “commuter scorecard” — tracking the monthly levels of express bus ridership, carpool-vanpool partner requests through its free match service, pollution advisories and the average price of gasoline Valley-wide.
