Valley Metro Announces the Hiring of Two Key Manager Positions

Diana Valley Metro announces the hiring of two key manager positions that will assist in better serving customers and providing enhanced technology solutions for the agency.

Diana Kebbekus is the new Manager of the Customer Service Department. Diana will oversee the Valley Metro call center and manage a team of Customer Service Representatives who respond to customer inquiries. She has an extensive customer service background, having managed call centers at Sigma Aldrich, GSI Commerce and, most recently, Deckers Outdoor Corporation. Diana has successfully developed and implemented best practices for team training and for increasing customer satisfaction. 

Scott Debi has joined the Valley Metro team as Manager of Information Technology Services. Scott Debi Most recently, Scott worked at Grand Canyon University where he served as the IT Infrastructure Manager of the University Online Learning application which supported over 40,000 students. Scott brings more than 20 years of technology experience from companies such as Motorola, IBM and Insight Enterprises.

About Valley Metro: Valley Metro provides eco-friendly public transit options to residents of greater Phoenix and Maricopa County including the planning and operations of a regional bus system and the development and operations of light rail. In Fiscal Year 2013, total ridership for the system was 73.4 million passengers, which set a new record for bus and light rail boardings. The first 20 miles of light rail opened December 2008. Seven light rail extensions are planned or are under construction that will create a 60-mile system by 2034. Valley Metro also offers transit options including alternative transportation programs for seniors and people with disabilities, commuter vanpools, online carpool matching, bus trip mapping, bicycle safety and telework assistance. Two Boards of Directors set the policy direction for the agency with the intent of advancing the regional public transit system.
