Peoria Park-and-Ride

Status

Valley Metro is designing elements for a new park-and-ride in Peoria. A study that concluded in summer 2016 identified that a facility at the intersection of Peoria and Grand Avenues would best meet Peoria’s current and future transit needs.

Next Steps

An open house will be held on February 8 to provide detailed information on the results of the study. The public is invited to attend to provide feedback on the recommended park-and-ride location and design elements. Project design is expected to wrap up in June 2018.

Background

Valley Metro, in partnership with the city of Peoria, conducted a study to identify a transit facility location to meet the cities needs as it grows. The $4.1 million park-and-ride will be built using federal and regional funds.
