Valley Metro Board of Directors

The Valley Metro RPTA Board of Directors helps guide the agency in providing transportation solutions that best serve each of the member communities. Each member community is represented by an elected official who is appointed by their mayor, Councilmembers, or board of supervisors. The current Valley Metro RPTA Board of Directors includes:

The positions of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Treasurer are voted on by the Board annually and serve a one-year term. The Board has a one-unit, one-vote system with the option of calling for a weighted vote based upon each community’s population. No community may carry more than 40 percent of the votes.
