Surprise Dial-a-Ride provides service to the general public.

Service Hours*

Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*No service on national and state holidays.

Call Hours

Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It is recommended that you book your trips two to 14 days in advance; however, same day trips may be available.

Fares*

Service hours and fares may increase. Call Surprise Dial-a-Ride for details on these changes. Cash only. Exact change required.

  • Residents over 5 years old (within Surprise) $1.00
  • Residents going to Sun City, Sun City West, El Mirage, Youngtown $1.25
  • Residents traveling to the Valley Metro bus stop at 111th and Grand avenues may purchase an All-day pass at Valley Metro’s current rate - $5.25

Transfer Policy

Passengers connecting to the Wickenburg Route 660 will pay $1.00 for the Dial-a-Ride trip to the bus stop in Surprise, and $4.00 for the Route 660 trip to Wickenburg. Fare from the Surprise stop to Arrowhead Towne Center Mall is $2.00. The fare is also $1.75 to and from the bus stop at 111th and Grand.
