Two new park-and-rides open in December

On December 15, the new Goodyear park-and-ride at Cornerstone Boulevard just west of Dysart Road, will be open to serve Express bus Route 562, as well as provide free spaces for carpools and vanpools. The official ribbon cutting will held at 2 p.m. that day. Funding provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

On December 20, the new Surprise park-and-ride located on Bell Road east of Grand Avenue, will be open to serve Express bus Route 571, as well as provide free spaces for carpools and vanpools. Funding provided by Proposition 400, the countywide half-cent sales tax approved by voters in 2004.
