Valley Metro’s Contracts & Procurement department is responsible for purchasing all goods and services for the Agency. Valley Metro is dedicated to ensuring full and open competition, as well as equitable treatment of all parties participating in our procurement process.

Valley Metro is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for its passengers and employees. All contractors and vendors currently doing business or wishing to do business with Valley Metro must comply with 29CFR1910 and the Valley Metro System Safety Program Plan (SSPP).

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is considered on all federally funded Valley Metro contracts. Valley Metro is committed to socially and economically disadvantaged, minority, women and small businesses participating in contracting opportunities. Valley Metro has launched a website that facilitates communications with suppliers and subcontractors and enhances its electronic bidding program. All interested suppliers are encouraged to register to do business with Valley Metro’s electronic bidding system.

A registered vendor will find solicitations, bid results, and award information on the site. Registering on Procureware will allow suppliers to download solicitation documents, addenda and receive automatic notification of business opportunities.
