I am a huge fan of people who go the extra mile for someone else.  I'm sure many of you have experienced both good and less than good customer service. That's why I'm excited to be a part of the Valley Metro family. We are an agency that understands and values the customer's needs. We are enhancing lives daily with an operator shortage and single tracking. We should ALL be customer service-driven employees who go above and beyond without hesitation. Valley Metro believes in keeping our customers informed through reliable and easy-to-use tools.  Whether it is face to face or through technology, there are many ways to stay connected. Like many of today’s businesses, we are experiencing an evolution in service with the expansion of light rail and the addition of streetcar. We also have changes in bus service twice a year – so staying up to date is important. 

Maybe you have already been introduced to the Valley Metro App, but what are you waiting for if not? The best part of the app is that it shows buses, trains, and streetcars in real time. We know your time is valuable, so download the app and plan your trips because it will make your travel more enjoyable. 

Alert Valley Metro Safety and Security App

Here's another way we go the extra mile. Valley Metro offers the Alert VM app, available 24/7 to our light rail and streetcar riders.  I find that this app has been designed to bring forth a high comfort level to the passenger. It gives our customers the ability to report any issues on their trip. For example, you can inform us if there is a disruptive passenger or a large spill on the floor or seats and we will have someone respond. If you are looking for the next bus or train information, it’s handy to use the Valley Metro app or call Customer Service at 602.253.5000.  If you have a question or concern, we will promptly find out and get back to you with the information.

Valley Metro's team of superstars does whatever it takes to ensure that our riders understand how committed we are to their travel needs. Rain or shine, we will continue to maintain a schedule of operation. If the public could see the amount of staffing put into place for this service to thrive, I am sure they would be amazed. That is why going the extra mile is so powerful.  When I decided to make this a career, I knew the work would be challenging but well worth it at the end of the day. We will continue to wow our customers until the last mile.
