Trish holds a master’s degree in counseling and has spent more than 20 years working in the behavioral health field. Among these companies was Regional Behavioral Health Authority in Maricopa County, where she sharpened her skills in client relations and effective communication while developing a passion for talking with people and truly hearing their stories.
Trish joined the team at Enterprise Rideshare and gained hands-on experience with managing vanpool programs in partnership with Valley Metro. Success stories were made because the emphasis was on customers’ needs. If there was a concern, for example, Trish would guide participants toward a resolution. If there was a vanpool in need of help recruiting participants, Trish would take steps to fill seats. She truly enjoyed helping folks save money, commute to work faster and reduce stress.
The move to Valley Metro was a natural one and her skills complemented a team that puts the customer first. In fact, you may see Trish at events that promote alternative modes of transportation, or hear from her in webinars that feature vanpool benefits and travel reduction, or learn about commute choices at ShareTheRide.com, where she develops content.
Trish enjoys working at Valley Metro because it feels small enough to be a team, yet large enough to make an impact on commuting behavior. When it comes to her own commute, Trish’s favorite alternative mode is bus. Trish commutes daily using the RAPID bus and enjoys relaxing and saving money and has made a few friends!
Trish has a daughter and enjoys spending time with her family. Scrapbooking, classic car shows and attending church are also favorite ways to spend personal time.
