  • Access Permit Request forms may be obtained by downloading from this site, or by submitting an e-mail requesting an access permit request form to accesspermit@valleymetro.org.
  • Access permit requests must be submitted no later than 3:00PM Wednesday prior to the week that the work will be performed.
    • If there is a recognized holiday on Thursday, work permits must be submitted no later than 3:00PM on the Tuesday prior to the week that the work will be performed.
  • All requestors must attend a weekly Track Allocation meeting to respond to inquiries regarding the proposed work, and to develop viable solutions with the operations team.
    • Track Allocation meetings are held every Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Operations and Maintenance facility.

    • When the week includes a recognized holiday on Thursday, the Track Allocation meeting will be scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00 AM unless otherwise specified.
    • Proof of insurance, and Track Access Training certification must be presented at the Track Allocation meeting.
  • Permits must be submitted every week during the length of the proposed project.
  • All permits are reviewed and must be approved by Operations at the weekly Track Allocation meeting.
  • Requests for additional information and denials will be sent via e-mail to the e-mail address that submitted the permit request.
    • Approved Access Permit Requests will be e-mailed to all e-mail addresses listed on the Access Permit Request form.
