Getting to the Valley's numerous college campuses—including universities and community colleges—has never been simpler. Grab your book bag and whip out your smartphone for these quick bits of info to help you get to class on time.
ASU Student U-Pass
Every proud and commuting Sun Devil can purchase an ASU U-Pass through Parking and Transit Services. Students with valid ASU ID’s are eligible to receive a U-Pass for $150 for the entire academic year. That’s a steal compared to book prices. Here’s a breakdown of the fares:
- Students (Academic Year Pass): $150
- Students (Summer Pass): $75
We didn’t forget about hard-working ASU faculty and staff. They are eligible for a Platinum Pass too, but at a different rate.
- Employees (Local Pass, annually): $390
- Employees (Express/RAPID, annually): $520
Only heading to campus for the fall semester or the spring semester? There’s a pass for that too! Students with full time enrollment at participating accredited colleges or universities can opt for a semester pass to get them from A to B, fitting their short term transportation needs.
- Spring or Fall: $230
- Spring or Fall (Reduced): $115.50
- Summer: $154
- Summer (Reduced): $77.50
Purchase semester transit passes at participating colleges and universities. A full fare semester pass used on RAPID/Express service requires an additional payment of $1.65 at the farebox. A reduced fare semester pass used on RAPID/Express services requires an additional $2.45 paid at the farebox.
