October service changes brings more transit options | Valley Metro
Check your route. Service changes begin October 25

Valley Metro is adjusting bus service on Monday, Oct. 25 to improve overall efficiency.

The new Express Route 515 Fountain Hills – Mesa Connector will provide service connecting the Fountain Hills Park-and-Ride with the Gilbert Rd/McDowell Rd Park-and-Ride. Formerly serving Fountain Hills, Route 514 will now travel between Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix.

More trips are being added back into RAPID and Express bus schedules for commuters traveling to and from downtown Phoenix.

New pilot service in Peoria, POGO Destinations, will feature three routes named Blue, Red and Green, operating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday-Sunday, serving activity centers and other points of pride in Peoria.

In Mesa, routes 45 and 120 will have Sunday service and increased service hours.

In Tempe, routes 62, 66 and Orbit Saturn have route changes to increase efficiency of bus service in the Guadalupe area.

Bus route 65, traveling between Tempe Transportation Center and Ikea in south Tempe will be eliminated. Travelers can use routes 56, 62 and 66 to reach their destinations.

All local bus routes in Tempe will end service at 11 p.m.

Bus service is being streamlined for routes 7, 8 and 52 by not traveling to the Ed Pastor Transit Center on Central Avenue. Routes 0A and 45 continues to serve this area.
