Valley Metro is adding a new route, extending routes, increasing service, as well as reducing or eliminating service as part of the bi-annual service change. Prior to Monday, Oct. 24, riders should check to see how their regular travel is being impacted or try new transit options being introduced into service.
The Mesa Fiesta BUZZ, a new, free neighborhood circulator will connect the Fiesta District, Asian District and Mesa Riverview areas. The route operates Monday to Saturday arriving every 30 minutes.
The Avondale ZOOM will become a free route for the first time. The north section of the route is being eliminated with additional routing changes south of the I-10. WeRIDE, a new mircotransit service, will be available by the city of Avondale, Monday to Friday, traveling on the north side of I-10.
