Valley Metro continues to modify and expand transit service to benefit riders. Service changes taking effect on Monday, Oct. 28 include more hours of bus service and increased frequency, along with schedule and routing adjustments. Many of these improved routes are in the East Valley such as routes 40, 77, 104 and 136.
In Avondale, the two ZOOM routes have combined into one bidirectional route with no more transfers. This route will also serve the new Festival Fields Park once it is open this winter.
The new Peoria Park-and-Ride opened in September to serve bus riders on the Grand Ave Limited, routes 83 and 106.
