The Valley Metro app is a great way to pay for fare!

Purchase reduced fare in the mobile app

Reduced fare mobile passes are available in the Valley Metro app starting February 1. To purchase reduced fare in the app, you must have a valid Valley Metro Reduced Fare ID number.

Already have a Reduced Fare ID? Follow these steps to start purchasing reduced fare passes in the app.

  1. Download the Valley Metro app and follow the instructions to create an account. Make sure you have a valid email address.
  2. Find your Reduced Fare ID (RFID) number located on back of your RFID card.
  3. Call Customer Service at (602) 253-5000 and select number 3 for fare support.
  4. Tell the representative you would like to have reduced fare in the app.

Note: You will need to provide your first and last name, date of birth or RFID number and the email address you used when registering in the Valley Metro app.
