April is Valley Bike Month
In 2018, thousands of Valley residents celebrated Valley Bike Month and bicycling as a safe, inexpensive, sustainable and fun method of travel. In April, 69,378 alternative mode commute trips were logged (12% more than the prior year), saving approximately 274 tons of pollution, equivalent to 53 passenger vehicles driven for one year!
For the fifth year, Valley Metro worked with a local artist to develop the Valley Bike Month art. Mike Faulkner design this year’s inspiring art.
