April is Valley Bike Month

Valley Metro has celebrated Valley Bike Month in April for decades. But with everything that’s going on, we found it necessary to modify it just a bit. While many events are cancelled or postponed, we’re keeping the Valley Bike Month spirit alive by moving forward with our beloved and – dare we say – “normal” Bike Month PledgeTeam Challenge and ShareTheRide contests. We’ve even made “teams of one” eligible for prizes in the Challenge.

In these uncertain times, exercise remains a great way to burn stress, whether alone or in very small groups. Lots of people are switching to bicycles for their commute. A lunchtime bike ride around the block is proving quite popular with teleworkers too! Plus, the size of a bike and basic maneuvering make “social distancing” automatic!

Join us in continuing this Valley tradition. Watch the ShareTheRide Facebook page for surprise contests and giveaways. From your friends at Valley Metro, keep calm and pedal on!
